Interesting Contrast

Today's first reading was the story of Susannah from the book of Daniel. I was thinking that yesterday's Gospel, about the woman taken in adultery, would have gone well with it; interesting contrast. Well, it turned out that that Gospel was one of two options for today, and Fr. Wade, wisely, IMO, chose that option. His homily, however, focused more on the first reading because, as he said, he had spoken at length about the Gospel passage yesterday. I love Fr. Wade's homilies.
