Nowadays, telephone numbers are just that: Numbers. I sometimes wish we could go back to using exchange names. For example, 33,74, and 89 can never replace DEwey, SHeepshead, and TWining. And the numbers 64 are a very poor substitute for what, to me, was the prettiest exchange name of all. My exchange. NIghtingale.
