For the past half-hour or so, I've been hearing a sharp little whistle, a little musical tweet which seems to be coming from the kitchen. Actually, it's rather a pretty sound, but it sounds a bit strange in the house. Of course, it could be coming from a bird on the roof above the kitchen.
