I love writing fan fiction stories that start the same, but then take different directions. One advantage is that I can copy and paste the beginning. I'm working on one of those stories now, and it is dark, much darker than any of my earlier fan fics. Somber, really. A change of pace, and a change of tone, for me. Updated to add: I've decided to make it a separate story, and not part of a set. Truthfully, I'm having some trouble with it. As I said, this is not the type, or one of the types, of story I usually write.
